Dear ABA Fans, There's no doubt that the ABA (next to the NBA) is the best known brand in professional basketball history. And there's no doubt that the ABA is the largest professional sports league in the US and also the most diversified in ownership. And there's no doubt that collectively the ABA and its teams do massive good for the communities we serve. We have much for which we should be proud. And that includes the quality of the players who choose to play in the ABA. Truly some of the best non-NBA players in the world - and many who should be in the NBA. So, the question is - when a fan attends a game, what does he or she see? There are many teams that run their Game Day Operations like a mini-NBA game. And there are some who don't. Those who don't really do effect the ABA brand negatively and hurt their fellow teams. This season, one of our main goals will be to improve the overall look of ABA games and bring the standards of all games up to the level of the best ABA teams. We can't afford anything less than showing the ABA at its very best. So we will begin marked improvements on Game Day Operations. Joe Newman, ABA CEO
